Here we give you our interpretation of the classic drag bag.  If you want to carry a rifle and gear at the same time, our rifle packs are pretty hard to beat.  On the other hand, there are times when drag bags and rifle cases are also useful, and we decided to offer one that we think encompasses the best mix of options.  We often hear from our customers that tell us this the best drag bag on the market.  Compare, and you'll see that it offers some unique features.  Most importantly, it's backed by Eberlestock's quality, attention to detail, and lifetime warranty.

The E2B and E57B "Sniper Sled" includes a removable pack harness and hipbelt.  The shoulder straps are similar to the Shooter's Harness found on our premium backpacks.  The waistbelt is compact in order to minimize bulk, but still useful as a way to put the load on the hips and to stabilize the carriage of the bag.  New to the Sniper Sled is a firmer mounting system for the harness and belt.  With a combination of pack harness clips and beefy overlapping velcro straps, the harness and belt securely carry the bag, and provide excellent stability.

The three large pockets on the front side are detachable, with MOLLE style webbing attachments.  They are large enough to provide some meaningful storage capacity.  The large portfolio pouch is a good size for documents and/or a laptop; the center bag is similar to our A2MP Multipack, with its multiple storage compartments, and the long bag is a good size for our A1SM or A2SM roll-up shooting mats, or tripods, etc.  The entire front of the E2B is covered with MOLLE-type webbing, so you can customize it with your own pouches if you desire.

At 52", the E2B will hold most full-scale sniper rifles with turreted optics (it was laid out to contain the McMillan .50 cal sniper rifle, and anything smaller; the FNH SPR pictured above has ample room). For those of you with a longer setup we have the new E57B.

The E57B is nearly identical to our E2B Sniper Sled Drag Bag. The main part of the rifle bag is simply extended, a little at each end, to make the overall interior length 57". Examples of weapons that can be carried in this bag are the Barrett L82A1M, fully assembled.

Tie-down straps have buffers to keep the buckles from rubbing on your rifle.  Adjustment tabs allow you to rig the straps to best fit your rifle, and also link to the main panel of the bag in order to give it stable carrying qualities when the bag's loaded up and being worn as a backpack.

Its third panel folds between the weapon and the storage pouches and ammo loopholes, so it serves the dual purpose of protecting your rifle's finish from the stuff that you put inside the case and providing a wide work area when you're laying on the bag.  It also works well to permit the carriage of two weapons in the bag without them rattling against each other.

Our drag bags are the first tapered-shape bags that have a good setup for folding flat to form a padded shooting mat.  Ample padding on all three panels makes it comfortable.  Simple plasticized mesh-fronted pockets are big enough for full-size notebooks, and everything is laid out so that you have direct access and good visibility while laying on the open bag.

Ample mesh pockets and MOLLE/PALS type panels finish out the interior.

The E2B can be purchased as a kit with the iM3300 Storm Case.

At left:  Harness and drag-surface detail.  Note drag loops at both ends.  Removable harness is reversible, so bag can be carried either barrel-up or barrel-down, for a slightly lower profile.  When the harness is removed, in-line with drag-direction flaps cover the harness attachment points.

"I ran five miles with my sniper rifle carried in your drag bag during the Snake River Challenge (police competition).  I was really surprised at how comfortable it was, and how well it carried my rifle and all of my gear."   -- a Boise police sniper.
